Hi, I’m back again and first of all I would like to apologise for not posting on here in a while. I’m glad I had Wayne to fill in for me and from the comments it seems like you all enjoyed the post he made so I look forward to having him back to write again. On to this weeks post…

Have you ever wondered why some people are so successful online and the rest of us are struggling to get going? Here are 7 habits that the successful marketers all adopt to keep their businesses in profit. If you want to know more about these habits then Matt Duggan and Ashley Wright have created a great course showing you exactly how to implement them in your day to day business.

Niche Awareness
Successful marketers find evergreen niches that will provide income on a regular basis not just for one or two weeks. They are also passionate problem solvers and genuinely enjoy helping people. Part of their niche awareness also involves constantly doing research on their niche and also finding new profitable areas to go into. This is a constant process that can be very time consuming so is often outsourced.

Consistency
The highly successful marketers out there are putting in regular effort to meet their goals. Not just having a day of work then a couple of weeks off, it has to be consistent effort on a daily basis. They also hold themselves accountable at every step, this is where it can also help to have someone that can hold you accountable.

Traffic Control
Successful marketers have a clear understanding of their traffic and how to leverage it. They know the different traffic types, how viral marketing works to generate traffic on autopilot. List building and joint ventures are always a massive focus for any successful marketer and Pay Per Click can reward huge revenues if it is properly understood. Pay Per Click can also be very expensive if you get it wrong.

Systems
As a successful marketer you must have your systems in place so you can focus on your strengths and keep things completely measurable through your whole business model. Systems are also in place to keep things straightforward, scalable and replicable at a low cost and with little of no downtime.

Outsourcing
One of the main things that sets the successful marketer apart from the unsuccessful one is outsourcing. Once a good outsourcing staff have been established the business can be scaled up easily and the staff become an investment and not an expense. This also allows you as a marketer to shift your focus on expanding your business rather than the day to day running of it. This is when you can really effectively use time management to keep things on target.

Relationship Building
Once the successful marketer has built a database of prospects the key thing to do is to build a relationship with them by connecting with them through emails. A lot of effort is spent on giving free value to the members of the database. This is where a personal touch comes in well so you can easily build rapport, you can also partner up with other database owners and share your products and information between your lists.

Mentoring
I don’t know of any successful marketer that has got there without some form of mentoring. It is important to find a mentor that you can model yourself after as you will be following their proven methods and if you don’t like your mentor then you are going to be less willing to listen to what they have to say. When you find your mentor, follow what they teach you and stick with it. It can take some time to see results but if you stick with it the results will come, as long as you found a good mentor that is!

Now you know these habits you can adopt them in to your marketing business to increase the profitability and success.
