My First Product Giveaway!!
Hi again,
I know it has been a while but there is a reason for this! I have been working on my first book that will be available very soon. I am in the middle of writing it now and this a form of productive procrastination seeing as I haven’t posted on here in over a week! I thought I would update you to let you know I haven’t disappeared and I am working hard behind the scenes to bring you more great free training for building and growing your own business.
My first book is exactly about this, the process of setting up your online business for lasting success, below is a sneak peek at the cover, let me know what you think of it in the comments section and keep an eye out for its release! It is coming soon. I just want to say a massive thank you to Gary Simpson for his helpful advice on getting this book started. I would still be on the contents page if it wasn’t for him and if you are reading this Gary, sorry for procrastinating to write this I’ll get back to writing the book now

Good to see you here! Thanks for the comments on the cover I got Michael Ottman to do it for me, he had the first design back to me within an hour or two! I was very impressed and actually that is the design you see there, 1st time lucky! I’ll definitely be using him again!

I have been struggling with the mindset chapter of my book so thanks for the idea about adding in something about overcoming procrastination! Should fill out that chapter quite nicely!
The follow bar is a plugin called share and follow. Drop me an email or pm in the forum if you want some specific help and Ill do my best to help you out, maybe even create a little video for everyone!

The graphics look great for your book. All the best with it and keep up the good work. It took me around 6 months to finish my first product. It was a massive learning curve but it was well worth it in the end. I look forward to it’s release. Any idea when you plan to launch the book?

I was aiming to get the book released last Thursday but some other things got on top of me! I am looking at this week now, hope I can keep it to under 2 weeks from concept to product so fingers crossed for that!

I think most people struggle with procrastination to some extent it can be very hard to overcome but if you take it step by step and catch yourself doing it then you can start to head down the right path.

Just know that we got your back. If you need any further help with content ideas, proof-reading, etc…. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves.
The only suggestion I would ask you to consider is this:
What will make this book different from other “getting started” guides on the Net?
It doesn’t have to be better than them all – the folks that find your book, won’t also have all the other “getting started” guides open in front of them at the time. So you don’t have to waste time trying to make yours the perfect eBook.
But I’m wondering about the “hook” that will grab newbies and make them feel like they have to read this book.
Think of it as wrapping the broccoli in chocolate.
Ha ha!
Glad to send some ideas if you need any.
But the graphics and overall concept are spot-on.
Don’t let any of this delay you – KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

Building their business is a subject most people over look, so a good niche to attack.

Thanks for your advice, I did think about putting my face on this one but thought I would leave it for my second book. I will have a small piccy of me inside this one though so don’t worry you will all get to admire (or not) my face
I still need to get some good photos taken for my marketing face as well, this list of things to do keeps growing every day!! Can’t wait for it all to pay off!

I like the cover as well but I think you need to put your own photo on that instead of the one kind of in the background. It’s a great way for people to really remember you. Especially after they read all that great information you’ll be sharing.

I have had a couple of people ask me this now so I am going to do a quick video showing you how to set this up. The setup page is a little bit complicated so I will be sure to make the video easy to follow!

Hi Simon,
I’ve downloaded your book and read half of it. So far I think it’s a great book. I’ve learned a lot so far, especially on setting goals and planning. There’s only one thing though I want to let you know – maybe you didn’t notice it – some sentences missed some words and sounded ‘just not right’. I understand the messages, but maybe you should proofread it? It’ll improve the quality of the book.

Thanks for your kind words Alice! I will have to do another proofread tonight then!! Thanks for pointing that out, I had proofread it but I had been reading and writing it for so long I was obviously slightly word blind!!
