WOW It’s Been Nearly A Year Since I Posted Here!
Well Well Well!
It has been nearly a year since my last post here and what a year!
I think last time I posted I had only just quit my job! How times have changed! I am pleased to say that I am still working for myself and making ends meet 
haha
Since my last post things have certainly changed though, I had an epic success with a WSO I did with Phil Henderson turning over $7,000 in 7 days! Then unfortunately Phil got the wrong end of the stick a couple of weeks later and stopped talking to me but hey ho we are both continuing on and I have no hard feelings towards him and wish him all the best.
The main change has been that I have now moved away from the whole “internet marketing” “make money online” niche and have started a massive project with my new business partner Ben Kench. We are putting together a fantastic coaching programme for small businesses which is proving to be quite a big challenge for both of us but there is some great content in there.

I have also been building membership sites for various individuals and companies which has been really enjoyable not least because I get to see a wide range of businesses and what information they are putting out but also because I really do enjoy helping people get their businesses to the next level!
Anyway the main reason for my post today is because my friend Ben Hulme has been doing some really interesting stuff over at his site Scaleogy.com. He has been interviewing loads of successful business people and talking about their projects and their success habits. I highly recommend checking out his site. He even got to interview one of the guys from the UK apprentice on his business that is now taking off without the help of “lord” Sugar. (I still dont think he should be a Lord but hey who am I to say)
Anyway I wanted to post this great interview he recently did with Hollis Carter. Check it out below.
So I really hope you enjoyed that interview and got some golden nuggets out of it. I know I did! Ben has got some really great interviews on his site and is constantly adding new ones. As I write this blog post he is getting ready to record another one! He’s like the new Terry Wogan (UK TV celebrity that did a lot of interviews back in the day).

Well Hello Simon, great to hear from you again and congrats on keeping the wolf from the door, I hope your work with Ben goes really well, he is a great guy that really is passionate about the benefit he provides.
Perhaps your suggestion to move away from the make money online niche is one many more of us should consider, it certainly is what I have been advised to do.

I think we BOTH learned a lot from that episode, the fact we have both moved away from the main ‘how to make money’ niche speaks volumes.
As you may be aware there was a LOT of crap flying around from all directions back then and the timing of events could not have been worse.
I just want to clear something up from the outset… the WSO you mention was your product, we did not share this product revenue, I merely walked you through what I would do to create a WSO on and how to find what people are looking for right now, how to structure an offer and sales page and how to maximise your earnings.
The fact you achieved over $7k in 7 days is testament that what I shared did indeed work. Of course you put a hell of an amount of effort into getting things set up too.
What I shared with you was to be the foundation of my next WSO; however, lo and behold and following on from the request from your partner on that WSO to ‘help him out too!”, I was surprised when you both then went ahead and launched a WSO on ‘how to create a winning wso” (not sure what you called it now). This didn’t sit easy with me and that created the first issue.
Anyway, I was left with no other option than to scrap the work I had put into my proposed WSO and take another direction.
So instead of producing my own WSO, I decided to offer my services on a 1-to-1 basis and create a WSO as a partner, actually I did all of the work, the partner got their investment back and then some and also built a VERY nice buyers list on the back of it. (they paid me an up front retainer – 100% guarantee or money back deal, with a split commission after)
The WSO did about $12k in a few short days! (Offline WordPress Wizardry)
I only offered this to one individual as by then I was growing very tired of all the bitching and wining within the community and I had also become very ‘guarded’ with what I shared with others. Shame really as ‘sharing’ what works and helping others achieve success was and always will be my main driver in life.
I’ve no plans to release another product in the Make Money Online niche; however, I’m still getting requests almost daily and so working with others on a 1-on-1 basis with an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) in place to protect my intellectual property.
My business model and focus has moved back to the Offline Marketing arena and also more ‘project’ based ‘stuff’ for clients.
I actually like this as I can stay behind the scenes and just enjoy the satisfaction of helping my clients succeed rather than having to avoid crap being thrown from ‘haters’.
In short, Life is great!
Still living in Saudi, just back from a no expenses spared 8 day luxury resort vacation with my wife in Dubai and totally enjoying life to the MAX!

Thanks for taking the time to post that lengthy reply to what happened. Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, I approved your message just before I went out to Thailand for my mates wedding and stag do! Fun times indeed!
It was a horrible situation for both of us and I apologise if you feel I have done you wrong in any way. At the time I was very upset at the way it went down and I really couldn’t see how I had done you wrong. Looking back at it now I can see how you could have felt like I had done you wrong and I am sorry for that. I hope we can put it behind us now and go back to the way it used to be. I still see people replying to your comments on facebook but I cannot see your actual comments unfortunately
I’m glad you are doing well still and I hope we can catch up at some point when you are over here or if I end up taking a trip over there.
